A superb opportunity for a Graduate/School lever seeking a career within a technical support role has arisen located in Lichfield. The successful candidate will be supporting the company's diverse product range and IT support needs. Our Client is a manufacturing company in the TV reception, Audio/Video and wireless technology industry and they offer outstanding training, development and career progression.

Duties and responsibilities

As the Technical Support Administrator, you will be responsible for;

- Taking incoming calls
- Provide basic troubleshooting on products
- Supporting team members
- Support of distributors and installers
- Effectively communicate issues to the relevant person
- Assist in testing of new products.
- Prioritise and assign support emails/tickets to the relevant person
- Represent the organisation in a customer facing role when needed (exhibitions trade shows, etc).
- Assist sales team in promoting the company's products.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate for the role of Technical Support Administrator will;

- Be educated to GCSE/degree level
- Have a background in IT, network or computing (not essential but some IT background would be an advantage)
- Some knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS (not essential)
- Knowledge of Word, Excel & Powerpoint etc.
- Able to create flyer/advertising material
- Knowledge of Sage 200 accounts or similar products, CRM knowledge would be an advantage.
- Possess a Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Interest in electronics and new technology
- Able to work under own supervision and be a team member
- Support technical sales team
