Melbreck Technical are working with a leading tool makers and injection moulders in West Midlands.

Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Engineer to join a family run business.

The role of the Sales Engineer is to develop the Company's sales strategy in line with achieving the company's delivery targets and in doing so play a key part in driving the business forward.Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a "hands-on" role within a rapidly growing business.


The Sales Engineer will have responsibility for:
  • Seek out new customers and sales opportunities within the plastics and engineering industry
  • Develop new strategies, tactics, and plans for future growth of the Company's database;
  • Meet sales targets set within given deadlines
  • Build a customer relationship, understand their needs, satisfying the customer without compromising Company profits
  • Maintain long lasting customer relationships
  • Represent the Company's business policies in various conferences, trade fairs and networking events to attract more customers
  • Effectively communicate proposals with presentations to customers
  • Manage the day-to-day sales operation
  • Ensure good communication between Sales, Projects, Operations and Design with regular contact with each area and ensuring that information is shared

Skills required:

- Plastic injection moulding industry experience
