We are currently seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our team at The Huntercombe Hospital, Eldertree Lodge (formally Ashley House), located 5 minutes from the Swan with two necks pub on the Nantwich Road. 15 minutes from Stoke and Newcastle under Lyme. 10 minutes from Market Drayton
Eldertree Lodge is a Mental Health Rehabilitation Hospital that provides specialist assessments, treatments and rehabilitation for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, autistic spectrum disorders, including those with varying degrees of challenging behaviours and forensic histories. The Hospital has 46 beds spread across six wards.
The Role:
Working as part of a team the hours of work are Monday to Friday (Apply online only) and on call on a 4 weekly Rota
* To provide maintenance and upkeep of the Hospital buildings including painting and decorating, repairs to fixtures and fittings and furniture, routine testing of the security and Fire Detection Equipment, Emergency Lighting and Fire Exits, monitoring of gas and electricity systems, water systems and sewage systems, carrying our safety inspections on electrical equipment and maintaining inventory records for the same.
* Maintenance of pathways including cleaning and snow and ice clearance and prevention operations.
* The recording of all data associated with Estates Operations manual.
* Maintenance of all grounds and lawns using the plant and equipment supplied and the care and maintenance of all specialist Estates equipment including PPE.
* Stock and storage of all equipment and maintenance and cleanliness of all storage areas.
