We are currently seeking a Recovery Support Worker to join our team at The Huntercombe Hospital, Eldertree Lodge (formally Ashley House), located approximately 6 miles from Market Drayton and just 11 miles from Stoke-on-Trent and within one mile from the A53.
The Huntercombe Group is one of the leading specialist care providers in the UK, providing treatment in the areas of Mental Health and Addictions, Brain Injury Rehabilitation, Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS), Learning Disabilities and Children Specialist Services.

Eldertree Lodge is a low secure mental health hospital that provides specialist assessments, treatments and rehabilitation for adults with intellectual disabilities, mental health needs, autistic spectrum disorders, including those with varying degrees of challenging behaviours and forensic histories. The Hospital has 46 beds spread across six wards.
The hospital is located in Market Drayton, just 10 miles from Stoke-on-Trent and within one mile from the A53.
As a Recovery Support Worker you will be responsible for providing vocational, educational and recreational activities for our service users on an individual and group basis. You will be an important part of the team that ensures patients in our care feel valued as an individual.
Most patients and residents are referred via NHS and local authorities. We play an integral part in contributing to new models of care outlined in the Five Year Forward View.
As a Recovery Support Worker working in our Adult Mental Health
Service your main duties will be:

To organise activities for all service users to develop and maintain new skills
*
To undertake Regular assessments to establish service user's strengths and needs using recognised assessment systems/tools in helping to develop individual care plans
*
To provide in-house activities for other care staff to use with service user.
*
Organising outings for the service users.
*
Helping to create a safe, educational and therapeutic environment based on the needs of the individuals and ensuring that their rights, dignity and personal privacy are maintained at all times.
*
Providing the nursing team with reports for CPA meetings, in-house meetings and other reviews as applicable.
*
To monitor and support the Assistant Activities Coordinator, (if one is in post), to provide a service to all service users by working with them as is necessary.
