Problem Manager / Service Delivery (monitoring and compliance)

We are looking for a Monitoring and Compliance Lead to work as part of a high performing team that delivers high quality operational performance, but also drives continual improvements to remove waste.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Problem Management and / or Service Delivery, Operations etc

The objectives of the designated IT area are to provide a single point of accountability for IAM within the business that ensures IAM functions are compliant and where non-compliances are identified they are resolved and the root cause(s) identified.

This function's core activities will be:

  • Conducting User Access Reviews
  • Analysing applications/systems/tools access data to identify inconsistencies
  • Resolve Inconsistencies
  • Utilise problem management to identify and resolve root cause of inconsistencies
  • Manage controls data
  • Escalation Management


  • Monitoring - establishing and leveraging operational data / metrics to identify process failure, non-compliance and inefficiencies across IAM and SML processes
  • Mobilise and manage change initiatives to resolve non-compliance, implement process improvements and drive business change across the IAM landscape
  • Pro-actively look for opportunities to drive improvements and changes
  • Monitor, validate and prioritise incoming work requests
  • Escalate issues to the Access Control Lead where resolution within SLA is not possible
  • Provide feedback on SML processes that could benefit
  • Ensure data inconsistencies are addressed within the agreed SLAs
  • Work with Controls and Compliance to agree and meet required standards
