A contract (3 months plus) opportunity for a Property Repairs Manager has arisen with the local authorities in Rugby.

You will be managing the Property Repairs Team to ensure the delivery of high quality services in line with the expectations of the Council's Housing Department and its tenants, and developing the service to one that provides building maintenance services to the private and commercial sector.

To be responsible for the overall management of the Property Repairs Service and will support the Head of Corporate Resources other unit managers to deliver the Council's corporate objectives.

Skills and Experience:

An advanced understanding and experience of the technical aspects of construction and building maintenance services.
Extensive supervisory experience of managing a large workforce.
Sound knowledge of financial management and control practices including the monitoring of budgets and procurement.
Educated to OND level or equivalent.Hours of work are 8am till 5pm, Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
