What are we looking for?

We are now seeking a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer. The role holder is responsible for effectively utilizing software programs across Carrier, CIAT & Toshiba Carrier to select equipment, prepare technically correct and commercially accurate customer quotations from specifications, prepare site project packs and track projects whilst always displaying high levels of customer service and confidently managing multiple tasks and responsibilities. This position will be based at our Bromsgrove office and will include occasional travel nationally; therefore candidates must possess a valid UK Driving licence.

As a Pre-Sales Applications Engineer, you will:

- Assisting the sales teams in providing customer selections
- Utilising the selection tools to design & select systems
- Providing customer support on selection and quotation
- Utilising the CRM to log and track all opportunities
- Ensuring legislation compliance on all equipment selections
- Undertaking Pre-Sales technical support
- Providing general support to the sales function
- Enter orders onto the system when received
- Liaise with the factory when required regarding technical issues with selections after order

To be successful in this role you will:

- Possess a strong technical background in the HVAC industry with specific experience working with AHUs, Fan Coils, Chillers & Heat Pumps.
- Qualification in HVAC to degree level
- Candidates must also be able to pick up technical knowledge quickly and possess excellent communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Ability to absorb technical knowledge
