We are recruiting for our client for an Archives Lead role for our prestigious client with sites in Birmingham and London.

This is a brand-new role that will require the Archives lead to establish, capture and deliver an archives programme accessible to a wide range of audiences, such as the public or government, historians, libraries and museums. The Archives Lead will be responsible for commissioning and creating additional content for the archives programme, recording key milestones and celebrating success across the life of the entire project.

The Archives Lead will have:

?? Experience in creating a digital and paper archive strategy

?? Have knowledge of archives, records or information management

?? Knowledge of large infrastructure projects and government processes

?? Knowledge of digital frameworks and platforms for archiving and storing information

?? Working knowledge of corporate communications, community engagement, public affairs, social media, PR and media relations

?? Experience of development of content across a range of communications channels

?? High level of expertise in the creation and management of digital information and content, including film, photography, content creation, storage and archiving

?? Editorial direction, design, production and distribution of promotional communications collateral

?? The ability to develop relations with partner organisations and other external bodies.

?? Excellent advisory skills and confidence giving advice and information to senior managers

?? Ability to manage multiple projects at a time.

This role reports into the Head of Campaigns and sits within the Corporate Affairs Directorate. There are no direct reports, but will be working closely with Corporate Affairs, Senior Comms team.

The role can be based in Birmingham or London.

The package is GBP53,850 - GBP67,000 + 20% flex fund
