Are you an all-round academic achiever who could help as a Cover Supervisor in the Rugby area?
The School in Rugby are loooking for me to recruit Cover Supervisor for daily bookings and long term roles. The ideal candidates should be able to demonstrate solid experience of working with children, aged 11 to 16.
Candidates will need to be in possession of a good degree, preferably in a core subject, although the School's will consider alternative subjects where candidates can demonstrate extensive classroom experience.
The main role of the Supply Staff is to cover the delivery of the lessons for classes in the event of teachers' absences, planned or otherwise. You will oversee the completion of set work and manage the behaviour of pupils in the absence of the teaching staff.
You will need to be a confident and organised individual. The role of Cover Supervisor is perfect for a Graduate who is looking for a career in Teaching and may be building up their classroom experience before a PGCE/School Direct application.
For a truly gifted individual who commits to the role to the fullest there may be the opportunity to stay with the School on a School Direct placement as a Teacher.
We are currently working with numerous vacancies so if this position is not quite for you please do send us your CV to discuss other opportunities more suitable to your requirements.
Alan (your consultant) has been working the East Midlands Desk for over 7 years so his knowledge of the local schools is exceptional. He has also gained QTS so he knows the education system extremely well. Feel free to contact him for a more detailed chat about the roles we can help you fill.
Clarence Recruitment is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to have an enhanced DBS check in line with the Government's Keeping Children Safe in Education guidelines (2014)
