Are you a Senior ICT Service Desk Analyst who has the technical expertise and managerial know how to act as a Service Desk Team Lead? Can you deputise for a Service Desk Team Leader, and ensure first time fixes remain high and that SLA's are met?

A Local Authority in Worcester is looking for a Senior Service Desk Analyst to lead by example within a busy team, delivering customer focused support for a diverse and large user base. Initially offered at 2 months, this position has the potential to be extended to a long-term position.

It is essential that you have the following experience:
  • ICT technical skills across a range of hardware, operating systems, applications and networking including Windows 7/10, MS Office 2010/2016/ 365
  • Microsoft operating systems, Active Directory and Exchange
  • Demonstrable supervisory experience in a Helpdesk/Service Desk or similar service
  • Providing remote support to users

Ideally you will have held a senior role working in a Helpdesk/Service Desk or similar service and using associated systems to provide 1st and 2nd line technical support. In addition to:
  • ITIL v3 Foundation or above or compensatory equivalent experience
  • To have a recognised qualification in relation to IT and/or systems engineering (BTEC National Certificate, C&G, GNVQ or equivalent)
  • Training in - Information Technology, (ECDL)
  • Training in - Networking Services
