How can we make this advert a little different and stand out from the crowd? Well ultimately, we can't ... but what is pretty interesting is that we're scaling the team for a tech first company based in Worcester and if you're looking for something different, in a company really going places, then you've come to the right advert!

About you...
You'll be a developer looking to improve your existing skillset in a challenging environment where you'll get involved in both Greenfield and BAU projects. We want to speak to people who are forward thinkers and can bring new ideas to the table - in a really cheesy way we want people who take pride in everything they do as well as those who want to learn loads of new skills!

Ideally, you'll have experience working across the whole SDLC; from PoC through to deployment / delivery and you'll be able to work within a cross-functioning team. You'll be a proactive individual, looking at new ways of improving services, systems and code to make the applications the best they can be.

What you'll be doing...
In a nutshell, you'll be in a varied role where you will work across multiple projects. Our client have recently started to look at new offerings for their customers, bringing a whole new range of fun to their product portfolio; ultimately giving the development team more and more work. They work within Agile teams, implementing CI/CD processes on a daily basis to make them more efficient moving forward.

What we need...
In an ideal world we are looking for candidates with the below experience;
* Experience working with C++ as a development language. Ideally we are looking for a longevity using this we want people who can (cheesy line warning!) hit the ground running' and provide mentorship / leadership to more junior people within the team.
* Ideally experience working (or have knowledge) of other languages such as Python and Java. As their product portfolio increases, there's more chance for new languages to come into the team.
* A good person. Nice and simple but company culture is key within this company. Nice guys (and gals!) don't finish last with this role.
* An ability and experience to work within a CI/CD environment; utilising tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Git, Atlassian, Confluence, Ansible. If you really want to make us giddy, chuck in some DevOps buzzwords like Docker, Kubernetes etc.

There's no fancy job titles with this role, but there's plenty more about the company that makes people excited. As well as an interesting position, they win bucket load of industry awards, they've got one of the best employee areas I've seen (no hot tub included... health and safety!), they promote diversity, they take team out for team building events and they're benefits package is all focussed on people.
