1st Line IT Support Analyst - Birmingham
1st Line IT Support Analyst role with 6 months+ experience on an IT Helpdesk / IT Service Desk, Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Office and service management system is required by a leading company in Birmingham. You must have good trouble shooting and analytical skills and have previous IT service desk experience. This could come from an IT helpdesk environment and you will provide 1st line support on a range of issues.
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to demonstrate your knowledge of some of the following :
* PC/Laptop support - hardware diagnoses & configuration
* Printer support - hardware diagnoses & configuration
* Password resets, user administration
* Windows Operating System (XP & Windows 7)
* MS Office including MS Outlook
You must have exceptional communication skills and be able to explain technical solutions in layman's terms.
This is a fantastic role for one of Birmingham's leading clients. In this 1st line, IT support service role you shall assist both internal and external stakeholders to make more effective use of systems, products and service. You shall also provide the first line technical support and advice as part of a team of 1st line people for calls received via telephone, online portal and email. You shall adhere to Service Level agreements with the business, as well as operational Level Agreements within IT.
