Pastoral Support Worker for SEMH Primary School

Are you a Pastoral Support professional with Behaviour Management experience? Are you looking to join an established SEMH Primary School?

The SEMH school is based in Wolverhampton. Your role as a Pastoral Support Worker for SEMH Primary School will entail providing 1:1 mentoring to children with social and emotional mental health. You will also work as part of the SENDCo team, liaising with families and support staff. You will be required to have a full clean driving license as you will need to drive between sites.

The most ideal Pastoral Support Worker for SEMH Primary School will:

Have experience in managing challenging behaviour and supporting both learners and families.
Be resilient and forward thinking and most importantly has the willingness to be flexible and work as part of a team.

A brand new build where the children at the setting have either been permanently excluded from school, in danger of losing their mainstream place or experiencing emotional, mental health problems.
students follow a holistic curriculum and focus on learning the skills needed to be successful in a classroom environment. English and Maths are taught daily as well as History, PE, Cooking and other vocational subjects.
The already established site for secondary aged children with SEMH continues to be 'Good' after a short Ofsted inspection in December 2018.
