AREA SALES MANAGER (Midlands/Black Country) - ASSET FINANCE
GBP40,000 + uncapped commission (GBP110,000 OTE) + Co Car + Excellent Benefits
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Asset Finance/Equipment Leasing Sales Professional to join a prominent asset finance business, part of a leading merchant banking Group, to work across their manufacturing client and vendor base.
A home-based role with regular client-facing activities, the Area Sales Manager will be responsible for generating new business from source as well as managing and growing existing client accounts in a pre-defined region. Working with clients who require business funding for manufacturing equipment and machinery, the Area Sales Manager should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of how to evaluate and provide accurate quotations for loans (sale and HP leaseback, operating and finance lease, refinancing etc.), communicating quickly and effectively with the appropriate teams to close the deal.
The suitable candidate for the Area Sales Manager vacancy should already possess significant experience of working within a similar sales role in an asset finance or manufacturing equipment leasing environment. You may be working within a competing asset finance funder/broking business or within a business banking environment and wish to advance your career with a well-respected and innovative banking group company which provides opportunity - rather than barriers - for personal growth. This is a sales & business development role, so your personal drive and natural flair for networking to seek out and capture business opportunities should be clearly recognisable. Being home based (Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Telford, Walsall are ideal locations), you should possess excellent planning and organisational skills and, as you will be attending client meetings on a weekly basis, your personal communication and presentation skills should be second to none.
