Accountant - Fixed Term Contract

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our Accounts team. This role is ideal for someone wishing to gain or expand their experience in a manufacturing business within a global group.

Hours of work:

Monday - Thursday 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Friday 8.30 a.m. - 4.00 p.m.

The main duties and responsibilities for this role include:
  • Supporting in producing the financial accounts from SAP records.
  • Supporting in preparation of Monthly control accounts.
  • Responsible for checking and collecting evidence for Group internal audit.
  • Control of fixed assets and the fixed assets register (Including 2 asses audits per year).
  • Capital requirements as part of the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly overhead reports.
  • Supporting in VAT preparation.
  • Preparation of Office National Statistics.
  • Preparation of internal reports.

The successful candidate requirements:
  • Part qualified or qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
  • SAP Knowledge - beneficial.
  • Experience in a fast-paced accountancy environment.
