Becoming a Programme Manager Automation OPEX with Capita:

Capita is undergoing an ambitious transformation, as we look to develop the capabilities and skills we will need for the next decade and beyond. As part of this we are investing heavily in automation, starting with RPA (Robotic Process Automation), and have embarked on an ambitious process to drive automation within our Operations.

We are looking to hire a Programme Manager able to coordinate and drive our RPA program, you will report directly to Capita's Head of Automation and be part of an exciting new and growing team created to deliver RPA across the whole of Capita and to external customers. This year the team has gone from 10 to 90. It is head quartered out of Fort Dunlop, Birmingham but travel and working at Capita sites around the UK will be required. Some home/remote working will also be possible, although you will be expected to be in Fort Dunlop most days.

What you will do:

* Own integrated end-to-end view of the full automation program and join the dots between different issues/opportunities
* Manage complex schedules, stakeholders, key risks, issues and dependencies.
* Drive program governance (own logistics for key meetings, make deck, take actions and minutes, ensure actions/inputs all competed in time)
* Own integrated resourcing plan (working with Development lead, IT Platform lead and BA lead)
* Lead a matrix team of senior service owners, designers, developers and testers to deliver strategic outcomes.
* Support impactful stakeholder management involving executive level stakeholders and vendors
* Establish and maintain strategic direction & plans (medium term 2-3 years) for IT automation initiatives.
* Oversee multiple agile teams and other stakeholders, to ensure that deliverables and planning is coordinated
* Multiple stakeholders across RPA team, IT&N, BUs, 3rd parties
* Driving and supporting commercial case development including alignment with finance.
* Drive reporting and communication to sponsor(s), and reporting to the Transformation Board

Your experience will include:

* Experienced Program Manager, specific experience in:
* Experience of large complex programs (>100 people)
* Multiple stakeholder's engagement
* Significant IT and business engagement required
* Experience specifically within IT programs
* Charismatic and high-energy
* RPA specific program management experience would be helpful but not essential
