Academic Maths Mentor - Birmingham - September Start (Leads on to Teacher Training)

This Academic Maths Mentor post is a graduate post that will see the successful applicant learn what it takes to become a successful teacher! The Academic Maths Mentor will be making a real difference to the students lives!

*** Academic Maths Mentor at a friendly secondary school
*** Birmingham-based Secondary graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted
*** Long-term positions - at least 1 academic year
*** Role starting September however the school can be flexible with immediate starts
*** Graduate role as the Academic Maths Mentor position leads to teacher training
*** School offers CPD and training along with Teacher Training for the Academic Maths Mentor
*** School offer school-based Teacher Training
*** £65-£75 per day

This vacancy is designed for a Maths graduate (or a graduate in a similar subject) who wants to become a qualified Secondary Maths Teacher. The role will see you developing your teaching, eventually becoming a fully qualified teacher.

In this position, you will be required to teach full classes of students, run group intervention classes along with working 1:1 with students that need additional help.

The school will support the Academic Maths Mentor with training and development, so that you offer the best possible lessons. The school has been graded as Outstanding by Ofsted and this is partly thanks to the Outstanding training on offer for not just Academic Mentors, but fully qualified teachers!

The official start date for the position is September meaning if you are working in a long term or contract role, or perhaps finishing your degree, it could tie in well with your current situation.
