The Role:

Working as part of the Legal and Compliance team, this role provides the opportunity to develop and manage the businesses risk portfolio. Reporting to the Legal Director, the successful candidate will develop and manage the risk register as well as creating strong relationships with key stakeholders within the business to support them in their management of their own risk registers. This candidate will be required to liaise with several departments internally and requires visibility at the board level.

Main responsibilities:

Managing and develop the risk register
To put into place and manage / oversee the risk management plan
Liaise with all departments on a regular basis and support key stakeholders with managing their risks
Report to the board on high risk matters
Identify the risks that need escalating and follow this procedure where necessary
To troubleshoot and investigate company-wide and individual issues
To coordinate all activities relating to risk management
Prepare reports for Audit Committee
Manage action plans and put mitigation in place for all high-risk matters
Prepare minutes of all meetings / admin tasks

The Person:

Confident, approachable disposition
Must enjoy a high level of autonomy
Ability to manage and prioritise own workload and those of the team
Good time management and the ability to adhere to strict deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commercial awareness
Excellent keyboard skills (acts as own secretary and administrator)
