We are working with a Large Public Sector Organisation with based in Mid Wales offering a remote access role to be based in any one of their locations, including Welshpool, Newtown, Brecon and Llandridod Wells, who are looking to recruit an Awards & Support Officer, this is a contract role for a minimum of 6 months.
You'll be looking to undertake all Awards work activities in the most customer focused way through all the various channels of customer contact, ensuring fast and accurate assessment of awards in accordance with organisational procedures, and predefined timeframes.
As part of the process, provide money advice and support to the customer by the sensitive uncovering and understanding of their personal financial situations, and then through analysis and decision making, present the customer with potential financial solutions in order to help the customer see their situation better and move towards improved financial health.
The salary on offer is GBP11.88 plus holiday pay you'll need to have some previous experience working in a similar role, have excellent IT Skills and good communication skills.
