Do you enjoy having ownership over your own role and how you manage your day? Wallis Lynch are working with a Leamington based SME to recruit an Accounts Assistant to their team on a permanent basis.

This is a friendly team who cover for each other but are looking for an expert in purchase ledger to manage the payment of incoming invoices, expenses, company credit cards and stock reporting and analysis:

Matching, batching and coding of invoices
Entering on to the system
Supplier statement reconciliations
Creation and processing of supplier payment runs
Credit note entry
Raising purchase orders
Mobile phone analysis
Query resolution
Stock take, reporting and analysis
Staff expenses, queries, analysis and processing
Ad hoc reporting and analysis
Month end ledger close duties

My client is offering a competitive salary, along with potential for study support for employees wishing to progress their career further. My client has modern, bright offices, free parking and a range of other benefits. Working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm.

You will need to have experience within a similar role and be confident working on your own initiative, accurate with a naturally proactive nature in order to stay organised. Previous incumbents of this role have worked their way up within the business so there are good opportunities for someone who shows initiative and performs their role to a high standard.
