The company is a leading IT services provider.

  • Provide the Platform Securities technology point of contact for senior business contacts and the Platform Securities executive
  • Identification and negotiation of key programs required to deliver stable sustainable IT delivery for Platform Securities/
  • Liaison with Clients to gather relevant requirements provide focus and increase client faith in Platform Securities IT, also where appropriate to publicise the key achievements and Business Improvements of IT to the client community
  • Influencing and winning commitment of key decision makers to drive change
  • Act as Technical Liaison for Client Account Management and Executive teams
  • Negotiate SLAs and KPIs for IT
  • Provide escalation for pre-sales technical enquiries from the Business Development teams
  • Extensive managerial experience, demonstrating leadership and vision
  • Proven leadership qualities - articulate the vision, promoting behaviours and cultures
  • Strong Vendor Management including contract negotiation, tripartite agreements and complex relationships
  • Broad based systems experience
  • ITIL qualified (beyond Foundation level)
  • Understands complex technical concepts and situations, and can express them in a clear and easily understood fashion
  • Understanding of IT reality and the business requirements
  • In depth understanding of systems, Projects and development lifecycle
  • Track record of both managing teams and operating within Matrix Management environments
  • Architecture / design of complex systems with security by design
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate teams and sustain high levels of performance.
  • Knowledge/Experience in the Financial Services / Broking industry and working within a heavily regulated environment
  • Understanding of formalised IT Risk and Compliance management
  • Able to identify and assess stakeholder needs, and to craft compelling solutions
  • Self-directed, yet strong team player
  • Excellent time management, decision-making, problem solving, presentation, documentation, planning and organisation skills
