We have a long-term opportunity available for a Document Controller to be deployed at an early stage of a major construction and engineering project. The role is to establish and maintain all aspects of project office administration as a service to the whole site team to ensure a consistent and constantly up to date delivery of all project related administration.

The objection is to create and maintain main contract files and site files for the project. To establish the site and office set up at the start of a project by liaising with the Project Manager, IT Dept and procurement dept. Attend the project start up meeting

The project is a large Utilities project so candidates with relevant sector experience in either electricity distribution, gas or water would be preferred.

The individual must have the relevant experience to set-up the processes required and work independently

Main Tasks

Create site files
Health and Safety
O&M Manuals
Timesheet organisation
General administration
Manage electronic information via different software platforms (Conject, 4Projects etc..)
Contract Manager Assistant

Essential Qualifications

Microsoft package experience / knowledge / qualification
Minimum 3 years' experience in administration role

Desirable Qualifications / skills/ knowledge

Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge and experience within the Construction/Engineering industry
Team player
Ability to work allow
Excellent time management skills
