Does your role get you access to stadium concerts, sporting events and behind the scenes at television recordings?

This one does! Were looking for a flexible technology enthusiast to manage and install temporary Wi-Fi, phone and CCTV solutions at festivals (Glastonbury, Leeds Fest, Latitude and more), concerts (recently Take That, The Rolling Stones, Spice Girls and Metallica) and television outside broadcasts.

You will be responsible for planning projects and preparing equipment before travelling to site to install and staying to support for the duration of the event. An interesting, challenging and exciting role - weve never had a position with benefits like this before! When not at customer site you'll be planning and reviewing either from home or at the office.

You'll be installing and supporting technical equipment but you wont need to be from a super technical background as the company provide excellent training and have a proprietary software platform to assist you. You will need to be a great people person and able to travel and stay at the site you are setting up.

The role may suit a support analyst, ex-military candidates from relevant fields, field engineers and anyone with some technical knowledge whos passionate about providing great service and loves the outdoors!

ROLE: Project Engineer

SALARY: up to GBP30,000 + commission + per diem

LOCATION: Tamworth (limited time in the office once training is completed)


- Represent the company at customer site - liaising with customers on installation and commissioning of equipment

- Plan and set up infrastructure and network

- Connecting CCTV, VoIP phones, internet access and Wi-Fi

- Responding to and anticipating customer needs

- Coordinating extra project resource where necessary

SKILLS and EXPERIENCE (not all required)

- Enthusiastic about technology in general with some experience in a similar role

- Strong people skilss

- Knowledge of cabling e.g. CAT-5 and power over Ethernet

- Knowledge of IP (Subnets, Routing, VLANS)

- VoIP experience as well as DSL and ISDN lines

- Able to travel to and stay at customer site

- Able to work outdoors whatever the weather!

- Full UK driving licence is a must
