Advanced Craft Electrician

Salary – Up to £35,016 per annum, plus an additional weekly payment of £307.50 when standby is worked and an enhanced rate for working on a Sunday or a Bank Holiday.

Full Time/ Permanent – There are a range of fixed working patterns available, working between 36 to 40 hours per week depending on your preference.  All work patterns will operate between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00, Monday to Sunday, and may include occasional Bank Holidays.

Location – Within a range of properties maintained and managed by the Trust, including but not limited to, Shropshire, Staffordshire and the Midlands.

The Wrekin Housing Group comprises of a number of not-for-profit organisations who have joined together to offer a complementary range of services. We are made up of The Wrekin Housing Trust, Choices Housing Association, Reviive, Shropshire Housing Alliance, FUSE and The Furniture Scheme

As a group we support a range of customers by providing affordable housing, care and support services, training and work experience opportunities, financial advice, mediation, emergency accommodation, access to affordable furniture, tenancy training and help with setting up social enterprises and lots more.

The role:

We are looking for suitably qualified individuals who can demonstrate an ability to carry out a range of high quality maintenance and repairs across their area of expertise and a range of minor repairs and associated works outside of this.

What you will need:

With a relevant City and Guilds qualification, you‘ll have experience of maintaining domestic properties and working unsupervised as part of a team.

You will be a good communicator, with a flexible approach to work and a can do attitude, to delivering the highest levels of customer service.

We will support you to undertake the latest 18th Edition training.

A full UK Driving license is essential.
