Accountancy action is working exclusively with a long standing multi-site business in the picturesque town of Shrewsbury.

Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible and for the oversight of the payroll department. With a small team underneath you, you will be controlling a fairly straight forward monthly payroll with an opportunity to get involved with the implementation of a new payroll and HR system, which is to go live in Q3 of 2019.
As Payroll Manager, you will need to be up to date with all payroll and tax legislations a they change making sure you have the correct controls within your department. You will need to have an outgoing personality and be able to build good working relationships with your colleagues.
There is an opportunity to go into the wider business to see how it operates; therefore you will need to be able to build rapport from the offset.
