Our client is a renown Classic Car Restoration Company who are actively recruiting for a skilled parts advisor to help support their current parts team.

An ideal candidate will have a background in automotive parts, either dealer, specialist or motor factor based with good technical knowledge and possess the ability to produce accurate parts pick list using manufacture and specialist parts manuals. Also have the ability to work up parts requirements list for repairs to vehicles for which no parts catalogues are available and go on to source or commission the manufacture of parts from other specialist.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • A clear understanding of stock control, parts administration,
  • Organisational ability to handle multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Experience in the Import and Export of Parts internationally
  • Responsible for the movement of all parts and issuing to service jobs
  • Monitors the parts inventory and anticipates parts requirement for any service promotion
  • Works with retail and wholesale customers with the ability to build good customer relationships
  • Manages inward goods, checking quantities and quality of parts
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
  • Be fully computer literate with the ability to present any required information

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Thorough insight into the working knowledge of Automotive Parts
  • Experience of managing an effective team
  • Fully computer literate
  • Experience with Dealer Management Systems
  • Parts / Technical Qualifications
  • Technical Understanding of vehicle technical aspects
