The Role

The Accounts Payable team are recruiting for two Senior Accounts Payable Administrators. The role reports to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner whilst guaranteeing that invoices are appropriately approved before payment is made to term.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsible for the timely management of accounts payable transactions in a proactive manner to ensure supplier accounts are accurate and up to date
Complex query management and reconciliations (supplier and month end as required)
Responsible for timely and accurate payment of Belgium and Netherlands rents
Responsible for payment runs and month end close
Ensure invoices are sent for appropriate approval in line with the company's authorisation manual
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships at all levels both internal and external
Dealing with PO and non-PO invoices
Clear and resolve any processing anomalies
Act as first line support and train administrators in the team
Provide support and cover for other team members within the AP department to ensure no backlogs occur
Supporting any process and system changes that are implemented for the improvement of the AP Process and department deliverables

The Person

Experience within an accounts payable department
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience of high volume processing
Good telephone manner
Intermediate / working knowledge of Excel
Must be IT literate
Ability to make timely and rational decisions based on relevant information and experience
Good standard of written and oral communication skills
Ability to work calmly and effectively whilst working under pressure and to deadlines
Must be competent in financial software packages
Knowledge of VAT requirements
Knowledge of rents and service charge
Dutch speaking/translation skills (desirable)
Experienced in multi-site retailer (desirable)
