Agenda Resource Management are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, outgoing and multi-disciplined IT Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be supporting a number of divisions and sites throughout the UK and will be the first point of contact for support.
Please note that due to our picturesque rural location and in the absence of suitable public transport links, having your own transport is essential.

Essential
* Outgoing and friendly personality that is happy to work as a team in a busy and fast paced environment.
* Previous experience in a similar role - confident in first and second line support.
* A 'hands on' proactive approach to work, with great organisational skills and ability to prioritise your workload.
* Confidence to liaise with colleagues at all levels of the business, working across multiple teams/departments.
* A keen eye for detail with a forward thinking, logical approach to IT and your career.
* Desire to learn and excel.
Advantageous
* Experience with Veeam, VMWare, Virtualisation, Fortinet, Sage, Windows 7/10, Windows Server 2008 > 2019, Microsoft SQL Server, Office 365, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, Power BI, Linux, VOIP, TCP/IP - Firewalls, switches and routers.
* Knowledge of ISO:27001, Cyber Essentials, ISO:9001 and ISO:22301
Duties and Responsibilities
* Logging, prioritising and dealing with support requests through phone, email and ticket system.
* Going through logs and actioning issues where needed.
* Ensuring backups are tested and working correctly.
* Keeping documentation up to date.
* Liaising with third party support parties as and when needed.
* System and application configuration.
* Monitoring systems and threat alerts.
* Some out-of-hours work may be required dependent on business need.
