Finance Business Analyst
Our client - a global leading business services organisation - is seeking to recruit an exceptional experienced candidate to start ASAP as a Finance Business Analyst in the Project based transformation area of the business. This is a newly created role, most likely on an initial 6-month FTC - however there is a possibility of this being extended or into a permanent role.
They are going through a wider transformation programme to standardise and enhance their finance processes end to end. As part of this the stabilisation phase there is a need to increase the support and business improvement capability; the Business Analyst role will work to engagement and advise the finance community on correct process and gather a roadmap of change requests to coordinate delivery of.
The Business Analyst will act as a functional expert that understands both the business processes and system functionality end to end, in order to educate the organisation and drive the change to new ways of working. This includes organising and leading presentations and workshops, identifying cross-business issues to develop a roadmap of change and in addition the Business Analysts will be able to deliver root cause analysis and functional specifications; they will work across function to lead improvements.
The successful candidate will be an experienced BA, who should have a good awareness of core finance processes (PTP/OTC/RTR) with strong project management skills, be able to illicit functional requirements clearly and document them at the appropriate level. They will be expected to naturally drive standardisation and best practice with heavy process first orientation, be natural relationship builder and able to see improvements through from start to finish.
