About the role:

Wolseley UK are currently recruiting a Senior Business Analyst to join and support our Supply Chain and Inventory team. This is an exciting time to join our Supply Chain team and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Analyst to drive changes. You will be responsible for developing (design, build & test) business reports & tools to improve the efficiency and results of key performance metrics and providing regular & adhoc reporting. You will also be responsible for undertaking complex analyses, providing insight and recommendations based on the needs of the Business to support delivery of (primarily) inventory & customer service targets.

You will also be responsible for:
* Support the Inventory teams to achieve industry leading levels of customer OTIF, product availability, inventory value & stock quality.
* Contribute to an environment of continuous improvement of performance and processes within the Inventory Management team.
* Contribute to the development of the Inventory Management team, through better use of data, enhanced analytical approaches & processes.

What we are looking for:
* Advanced knowledge of MS Access, Excel & VBA. With the ability to develop sophisticated applications for data manipulation & customer requirements using multiple data types & sources
* Experience of using analytical software
* Strong analytical skills, able to understand, interpret, manipulate and communicate information in a way meaningful to the business user
* Highly literate and numerate
* Previous experience within Supply Chain would be highly advantageous
