My client is looking for wonderful people with a zest for life to join their Residential Home for vulnerable young people aged 16 - 25 providing a supportive environment to transform the lives of young adults.

My client is offering a New Starter Bonus if you have Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (Social Care Pathway), or what they deem to be equivalent you will receive a £1000 bonus paid in instalments!

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work alongside staff teams to provide a high level of care
  • Provide a safe environment for the young adults in your care
  • Ensure record keeping and administrative duties are met including care plans and all relevant paperwork is updated
  • Uphold and protect the rights of individuals and working co-operatively to create a very high standard of care for the people who use our services
  • Be flexible and able to undertake shift work including weekends and sleep-ins

Minimum requirements:
  • Level 3 qualified in Children and Young Persons Workforce, Social Work Degree or equivalent or willingness to work towards
  • Experience of working within learning disability or mental health settings, with challenging and complex behaviours, or in a therapeutic young people's residential setting
  • Knowledge of current legislation
  • Experience of Ofsted and CQC inspections
  • Driving licence
