Smile Education are working with a popular Primary School Based in South Birmingham. They are looking for an experienced Intervention Teacher to work with students for their Year 2 class. This role is for 3 days per week, starting from September 2019.

As an intervention teacher you will play a key role in assisting students who are experiencing difficulties in the classroom. You will be working in a school that has students with different needs therefore being adaptable with your teaching style and lesson plans will be vital. Working with both parents and classroom teachers, you will attend to the social, personal and academic needs of students.

At Smile we like to ensure all our staff are looked after and paid correctly. For this role qualifications, experience and previous pay scales will be considered.

To be considered for this teaching post you must have;

- Qualified Teacher Status and a completed PGCE
- GCSE's in English and Maths graded C or above
- Experience of working in schools with the UK
- Strong knowledge of the KSI Curriculum

For the registration process you will need to provide;

- An Enhanced DBS preferably already on the update service, or happy to complete a new one
- Proof of all right work to documentation
- 2 Years' worth of referencing which can comment on your suitability to work with Children
