Smile are currently recruiting on behalf of a fantastic Primary school based in Great Barr, they are looking for an enthusiastic PPA teacher, you may currently be a Primary School Teacher seeking a change from class teaching. If you are already in a PPA Teaching role this could be the next exciting role you are looking for. This school passionately believes that there are no boundaries to learning, and in the last year their drive for excellence saw them being placed as 2nd in Birmingham for the progress that their children had made.

The role of Preparation, planning and assessment (PPA) Teacher will be to conduct PPA cover from Nursery, KS1 and KS2. This will be a varied role covering 3 days per week from September 2019 and you will become an integral member of staff at this forward-thinking school.

PPA Cover Teaching is the perfect way to achieve more of a work-life balance, which can be more difficult within a permanent teaching job. You will plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of all children but will be relieved off all the additional pressures of a full-time teacher. You will also ensure high standards of behaviour are upheld so effective learning can take place and good relationships will be formed within the school community.

To be considered for this teaching post you must have;

- Qualified Teacher Status and a completed PGCE
- GCSE's in English and Maths graded C or above
- Experience of working in schools with the UK
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum for Nursery, KS1 and KS2

For the registration process you will need to provide;

- An Enhanced DBS preferably already on the update service, or happy to complete a new one
- Proof of all right work to documentation
- 2 Years' worth of referencing which can comment on your suitability to work with Children
