Health & Safety Manager
Our client, a professional services business based in Birmingham have instructed us to assist with the recruitment of Health & Safety Manager who will be their in house expert on all Health & Safety issues.

The role of the Health & Safety Manager will be to provide expert and professional advice for all matters relating to Health & Safety.
Ultimately this role will be overseeing the Health & Safety of several thousand employees across the group estate as well as visitors and contractors on site.
You will be managing a small team of Health & Safety experts and collectively your team will be providing advice and guidance on the day to day issues that arise across the group. You and your team will work closely with key stakeholders across the business to ensure that all legislative and compliance requirements are met.
The team is also responsible for carrying out any investigations arising as a result of accidents or breaches of health and safety.
As the Health & Safety Manager you will also be responsible for ensuring that the business is complaint with all CDM regulations and you will continually be driving improvement to Health & Safety generally.
To be considered for this position you will need to be able to demonstrate a background of managing Health & Safety across a considerable sized estate and ideally within a corporate business environment.
As well as having strong working knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations as well as CDM regulations you will also hold a formal qualification, ideally a NEBOSH diploma.
A salary of up to GBP60,000 + benefits is on offer.
