The firm are seeking to hire an Employment Senior Associate / Partner into their Newcastle office.
You will lead the employment department and will be at the forefront of this industry leading team, you will work with the other Partners to drive the department forwards.
The firm have a strong reputation for employment, you will join a friendly, supportive and dynamic team that will have you dealing with high-quality work.
You will handle all forms of employment law issues for commercial and private clients and build and develop your own caseload with a commercial emphasis. You will be expected to be able to handle matters including but not limited to; Employment Tribunals, TUPE, Covenant Disputes, data protection, amongst other elements. These specialisms would make for a very interesting and varied caseload.
- You will be an Employment Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regard to the amount of PQE, applications are encouraged from even the most experienced of candidates)
- Experience of managing and mentoring more junior colleagues is to advantage, but is not essential
- You should have first-class communication skills
