We are looking to recruit a Senior Associate (Technical Specialist) within our Rugby office.

About the Role

As a Qualified Lawyer you will provide advice within the WTP Practice Area, based on policy and legislation. A technical specialist is required with a strong background in trust creation, administration and taxation and Court of protection matters. In addition, acting for HNW individuals in estate planning. You will undertake specialist or technical research and analysis, conduct investigations, and demonstrate effective delegation of procedural, clerical, and administrative tasks to Legal Assistants or Legal Secretaries as appropriate.

About you

In order to be successful you must be qualified in the area of practice (either as a solicitor, or a Legal Executive). You must have a robust knowledge of the legal services industry along with experience of case management and managing a portfolio. You will be accountable for organising your own workload and make independent decisions relating to the area of your responsibility. You will manage higher fee earning targets to contribute to the fee earning potential for your practice area you must be able to communicate effectively on every level; you are on the front line of customer communications and must set the example to other staff in the delivery of exceptional customer service. To be successful in this role you must be able to work independently and be self motivated, but also work well in a team in order for practice area goals to be met. You must be able to build strong working relationships both internally and externally. STEP qualification is preferred or an ongoing commitment to becoming STEP qualified.
