Are you an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician looking for a rewarding and challenging career? Working in the Maintenance Department as a Maintenance Engineer / Technician you will be rewarded with a competitive salary of up to GBP31,000 with additional shift allowance, attendance and performance bonus .

As a Multi-Skilled Electro Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you will undertake planned and reactive Maintenance within an automotive manufacturing environment. Your primary duty will be to support production, carry out both reactive and preventative maintenance.

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will hold the following skills and experiences -

o Served an apprenticeship and have a minimum 3 years' experience
o Have both a mechanical and electrical ability
o A Recognised Electrical qualification, (minimum level 3 city and guilds or equivalent)
o Basic Siemens S7; not essential
o Previous experience with Robots (ABB an advantage but not essential)
o Good mechanical skills with hydraulic and pneumatic awareness
o Experience of reactive maintenance fault finding / repair
o Full driving licence as there may be a requirement to travel to another site (transport provided)
o Experience gained in an automotive sector an advantage

Previous experience from an automotive supplier or manufacturer is advantageous but not an essential as having proven electrical and mechanical experience from a manufacturing high pressure/ production environment will be highly regarded.
Overtime when available is paid at an additional rate. The shift pattern will be rotating weekly as follows:

Week 1- (Apply online only) Monday-Thursday (Apply online only) Friday
Week 2- (Apply online only) Monday-Thursday (Apply online only) Friday
Week 3- (Apply online only) Sunday-Thursday
