Talent Acquisition Specialist
Are you a candidate focused, creative recruiter with a passion for the design world?
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at SGSCO you'd be responsible for the recruitment of creative staff into Production roles across our sites in Tamworth, Manchester and Hull. When I say creative, I mean 3D Artists, Artworkers and people from the reprographics industry - so you'd need to have an appreciation of digital technology and/or artwork.
This isn't a role for some who like to spray and pray, this is a role for someone who can headhunt for hard to find skills in areas with a shortage of talent. Someone who can partner with their business and to understand their needs and translate them into results. Someone with a strong appreciation of candidate and hiring manager experience (so that means understanding your managers needs and delivering for them, while ensuring each candidate has a great experience and leaves as a brand ambassador) and how you manage your day can impact this. Someone who can deliver the right person for the business and not rely on agency support.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants more autonomy and ownership in their role. Someone who wants to partner with a business and help direct them through the external market so that they are effectively resourced now and are ready for their future recruitment needs to (so you'll get to implement tactical workforce planning methods). All of this in a multinational organisation full of people who are creating artwork for the packaging industry, working on some of the biggest FMCG brands out there.
You'll be a 360 recruiter (Business Partner, Senior Recruiter or Senior Resourcing Consultant) who has either recruited creative roles before, comes from a creative background, or has a passion for the creative world and wants to move into a more varied role in a fast-moving organisation.
You'll have recruited (in a direct sourcing model) a variety of roles before covering volume and specialist, finding people through adverts, CV mining, social media, X-Ray searching, networking and other methods.
You'll need to comfortable with travelling (that means you'll need a driver's licence and a car) and not being based at one site all the time. Yes, you'll be based at Tamworth as your main site but with two sites in Hull and a new site in Manchester you'll want to be on-site with your business weekly to partner them as effectively as possible.
You won't just be a recruiter though, you'll be able to build strong relationships across all areas of the business and gain trusted advisor status as a go to person! There'll also be the opportunity to get involved in projects and transformation too as this is a newly formed and growing Talent Acquisition Team.
Experience of international recruitment would be advantageous, but again, not essential.
- Salary of up to GBP35k (depending on experience)
- 25 days annual leave (+ 8 public days)
- Pension scheme
- Private health insurance
