My client is looking for a Social Media Specialist to work alongside their Sales and Marketing team. The chosen applicant will work closely with Management to create engaging content for the company's social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand focused, seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences and creating engaging content. Driving traffic to the website using tools such as PPC is a specific requirement of the role.

This is a 12 week temporary to permanent Graduate Internship opportunity.

Duties and responsibilities

* Managing company social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other relevant platforms

* Engaging in social media presence creation on new and emerging social media platforms

* Creating dynamic written, graphic and video content

* Optimising content following search engine optimisation (SEO) and pay-per-click (PPC) guidelines

* Creating content that promotes audience interaction, increases audience presence on company sites and encourages audience participation

* Assisting Management with large projects, events, and community management

* Working as part of a team to develop large social media campaigns

* Analysing and reports audience information and demographics, and success of existing social media projects

* Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content

* Working with marketing and social media team members to coordinate ad campaigns with social media strategy

* Writing and distributing e-newsletters and e-marketing to subscribers

* Managing social media communications

* Using timelines and scheduled content to create a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction while analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimise website visits.

Skills and experience

* The ideal candidate should have the following:

* 1+ years' experience of social media marketing

* Technology skills

* Experience in content writing

* Experience in graphic design

* Experience in campaign execution

* Experience with SEO and PPC campaigns

* Be self-motivated, comfortable working in a team, details oriented and enthusiastic

* Demonstrate strong communication and customer service experience

* Proofreading skills

Location

The position will be a full-time position, with time being shared between our partner company.

Hours will be 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday,
