Our client is one of the UK's largest Hire companies and they are looking for a confident and experienced General Manager.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for driving the day to day growth of your business - through building relationships internally and externally. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the branch and your team and nurtured and developed to maximise their potential. Your focus will be on the ability to directly influence the outcome of your depot. Taking accountability for results, involvement in budgeting and full Profit & Loss responsibility; you will own the bottom line. Managing operational activities within this 20+ person depot, the role is varied and challenging, so being operationally and sales minded is essential.
What we are looking for:
- Managerial experience in a high performing sales environment
- Experience in the Hire industry preferred but not essential
- Staff development and training experience
- Target and KPI driven
- Full P&L accountability
- Both operationally and sales minded
- Customer service focused
- Great leadership skills

This role is Monday to Friday, 8:30am till 5:00pm.
