A Site Engineer is required for a well-regarded Engineering Company based near the Worcester area. The position is supporting the Facilities manager with on site maintenance and compliance. This is a permanent role working Monday to Friday (daytime hours), providing a competitive salary + overall benefits package.
Responsibilities of the Site Engineer include -
Daily checks of the Plant equipment, including start / stop routines.
Planned maintenance routines / inspections.
Effective running of effluent plant.
Handyman duties as required around site.
Control of contractors on site.
Checks to fire alarms / fire doors etc.
Ensure efficient plant operation and compliance to Client and legislative Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements.
Drive continuous improvement on site and helps towards maximising overall site efficiency.
Site Engineer desirable skills/experience/attributes -
Background within an industrial building services environment, with competence in building maintenance.
Knowledge of building service and infrastructure equipment.
Good working knowledge of Health Safety and Environmental responsibilities
Understanding and working knowledge of maintenance procedures and documenting correctly.
