HLTA Needed on full time long term basis in SEN school in Nuneaton
Your new company
Hays Education are currently working with an SEN School in Nuneaton who cater to children and young adults between the ages of 9-19 with a variety of needs and difficulties. This school are seeking a HLTA Intervention Assistant to cover across all Key Stages from KS2 through to KS5. This position is to start after Easter for the Summer Term, for the right candidate this could go permanent.
Your new role
As a HLTA at this school you will be assisting across all Key Stages and covering all basis of the curriculum. Your main focus will be to run intervention groups to assist students further with their learning. You will be working with students with a variety of needs including ASD, challenging behaviour and other complex needs. You may be required to follow individual learning plans dependant on the needs of the students and plan accordingly, and you will be responsible for catering to the individual needs within the school community and help to provide a quality learning environment.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you should be an experienced HLTA with experience of working within an SEN school with children and young adults. You should have experience of leading intervention groups and have a patient and understanding nature.
