Full-Time PA to Managing Director

Established in 1975, Triton Showers has grown to be the UK's brand leader in showers. From humble beginnings, we now employ around 320 people, almost 280 of which are based in our Head Office and purpose-built manufacturing facility. Testament to our team's fantastic commitment and dedication to keep the company at the top, we have a very loyal employee base with many employees clocking up between 10 and 30 years plus service.

Following retirement, we have an opportunity for an experienced PA with a flexible approach to join our growing workforce.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director the ideal candidate will be an experienced PA that has worked at the highest level, who has a can-do attitude and exceptional customer service skills. The key function of the role is to provide a confidential secretarial service and support base to the Managing Director at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform confidential secretarial function for MD

  • Control MD's diary to ensure maximum efficiency

  • Ensure information is communicated to/from MD in a timely manner

  • Review any incoming post/e-mails, ensuring only those that require the MD's attention are forwarded

  • Ensure deadlines set by MD are adhered to by colleagues

  • Ensure the MD's ideas/preferences are cascaded down

  • Ensure customer complaints and queries are dealt with promptly

  • Ensure all monthly business reports are delivered on time to our parent company

  • Collate all presentations and communiques

  • General MD office and administration/control

  • Electronic Diary management and office duties

  • Manage a small team of executive secretaries

  • Collating and analysing data

Key Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills at all levels

  • Minimum 5 years PA experience, 3 being at Board level

  • Proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office

  • Attention to Detail

  • NVQ3 in Business Administration or equivalent secretarial qualification

  • Knowledge of shorthand

  • Strong educational background with a minimum Grade C or above in English
