Are you an experienced Tenant Liaison Officer, seeking your next contract in the Birmingham area?

My client has an upcoming opportunity for a Tenant Liaison Officer to join their Project Team on an initial interim basis.

The successful candidate will work within the site team, contributing to the delivery of an External Works Programme.


* Be the point of contact for residents with regards to planned works

* Manage any queries/issues in a timely manner, ensuring resident satisfaction is at the forefront of the work carried out.

* Liaise and support residents through the planned maintenance improvement programmes, ensuring residents are made aware of the scope of works and timescales.

* Maintain paper and computerised records in line with company procedures, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act

* Effective and efficient completion of handover paperwork with customers.

* Identify special needs or circumstances of individual residents and ensure service is tailored accordingly.

* Oversee and administrate the tenant complaints procedure, including ensuring that complaints are speedily resolved.

* Assist with any PR/Marketing events when required.


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience within Construction Industry and in a liaison/social housing role

* The ability to interact sensitively with others; acknowledging feelings /responding to concerns.

* Effective complaints handling skills.

* Strong IT skills, able to produce documents and reports.

* A full driving license and transport is essential
