This team takes a closer look at how Aldi is performing and shares best practice knowledge with our international business. And you'll be the one who makes sure things run smoothly.

This will involve day-to-day organisational work, data processing and analysis. Naturally, you'll need to be efficient and well organised, with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

We do things our own way at Aldi. But whatever we're doing, we must be getting it right. With a wave of impressive sales figures behind us, we're opening new stores at lightning speed. And to keep on top of that wave, we have to do something pretty special to keep our customers coming back for more.


Salary: GBP26,560 per annum
Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4.30pm

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Payroll Assistant to join our Corporate Administration team, based in Atherstone.

Utilising your initiative and competence, you will provide support to a busy department while developing your skills in Payroll and other administrative tasks.

You will need to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, strong work ethic and an ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritise your own workload. Confident and professional written and verbal communication skills are key, as well as the ability to work in a highly organised, structured and methodical manner.

The successful Trainee Payroll Assistant will be educated to minimum GCSE grade A-C (or equivalent) in Maths and English. You will need to have experience working in an office administration position. Experience within payroll is desirable.
