FULL TIME /PERMANENT - GREAT HOURLY RATE & SHIFT PATTERN- AIM IS FOR STAFF TO HAVE EVERY OTHER WEEKEND OFF WORK!!
GBP10.99 - GBP13.74 per hour plus GBP32.00 per sleep in + Employee Assistance Programme -advice/counselling service to all staff free of charge and on a 24 hour service 7 days a week + pension + private medical service!

As Deputy Manager you will work closely with a therapeutic home manager and be well paid, well supported and a part of creating a brand new therapeutic resource within an exceptional, independent and child centred organisation! This is what every residential childcare provider should be like! Quality homes, quality support and exceptional care for children! Based in a newly renovated, large Victorian house, you will help lead the team to create a therapeutic, nurturing and structured children's home of the highest standard.
ABOUT YOU
- Skilled in leading a residential childcare team within a high performing SEMH home
- Proven track record of delivering quality driven residential childcare provisions
- Ability to lead by example and develop your staff team's resilience and well being as individuals and a team
- Support your team to deliver quality therapeutic model of positive behaviour support
- Help to create a fun, respectful and child centred home for children / young people with social and emotional difficulties
- Sound working knowledge of current residential childcare legislation
- Effective communicator, good listener and able to create a good humoured, structured and consistent model of care to include appropriately challenging behaviours through positive parental style therapeutic support
- Knowledge of mental health conditions in children and young people
- Ensure the highest standards of health & safety, report writing, reviews, supervisions, appraisals and all other relevent paperwork
- Communications with other agencies, families and other contacts
- Hold relevant QCF Level 3
- Hold QCF level 5 or be willing to undertake further professional development into Trainee Manager role and Level 5 qualification
- Car driver
