Working Hours: 1.75 hours & 26.5 hours per week (approx)

Salary: GBP8.75 per hour

An exciting opportunity has arisen, as we are currently recruiting for Part time Lifeguards to work as part of the large operational team within a busy leisure environment. The working hours are 1.75 and 26.5 (approx) per week on a 3 week rota and this is to cover evenings and weekends with occasional daytime work in the week.

Cocks Moors Woods is the largest leisure centre in south Birmingham and has everything you need to stay fit and healthy and also have fun and entertain the children.

Key Purpose of the role?

The Lifeguard's role is to work within the centre, ensuring customer safety and high standards of service and customer care at all times. The role will involve supervision of specific activities including lifeguarding the swimming pools, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and the safe handling and set up of equipment.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience of working within the leisure environment with the ability to set and achieve high standards of cleanliness and personal presentation as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. You should also have a good awareness of Health & Safety policies and procedures.

It is essential that you hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)
