Regional Project Manager
As a Project Manager within the project delivery team you will be responsible for the delivery of assigned key customer facing projects to time, budget and the required quality through the management of a successful portfolio of project work crucial to the continual growth of the business.
You will be expected to build strong relationships with all internal stakeholders such as sales, technical development and operations to facilitate the successful delivery of all projects and smooth transition into life. Build strong relationships with a multitude of external stakeholders such as contractors and key customer clients as well as site-based staff.
You will need to utilising the existing project standards, maintain and develop project plans identifying resource requirements and deliverables across the customer projects programme. Assist sales teams with proposed technical solutions and costings where required.
Build, develop and grow business relationships, where possible, to secure both the success of the project and assistance with potential future business.
Management of day to day operational aspects of project and scope.
Follow internal Glide Group project management process at all times and enforce project standards. Effective management of all project issues and risks.
Personal skills and qualifications:
Experience within a delivery project management role and familiarisation with project management software such as MS Project.
Financial management skills at a project level demonstrating clearly where you have created financial tracking to aid the delivery and management of projects to budget.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Very strong organizational and planning skills.
Ability to interact on all levels within the company.
Time management skills are a must, as well as the ability to be flexible and creative.
Prince2 practitioner/APMP Accredited or similar (or working towards).
Experience at working both independently and in a team orientated environment is essential.
A working knowledge of current internet technologies.
Flexible and agile approach essential to meet external expectations and requirements.
Ability to manage and drive change.
Available to travel if required (UK and Europe).
The ability to deliver under pressure.
Excellent stakeholder management Skills.
Experience managing multiple customer projects.
Experience as an influencer with strong communication and customer focus skills.
ICT project management lifecycle experience.
