Mortgage Intermediary Team Manager - £37,164 plus Bonus in Wolverhampton

An exciting opportunity is available to work with a Times Top 100 company to work for with a Specialist Lender who are looking for a Team Manager to work in their Intermediary Contact Centre Team.

The ideal candidate will report to the Operations Manager of the Intermediary Contact Centre and will be responsible for the daily running and management of the Contact Centre Support Teams through the effective use of resources, providing effective leadership, support and motivation, with a focus on the client's customers to the best level of service.

With various activities undertaken in the Support Teams the ideal candidate will need to manage a varied workload and be able to prioritise effectively. Leading team's by role modelling the company's values, providing expert advice, guidance and assistance will be important.

The candidate for this role will be required to proactively manage and support activities to meet and exceed expectations and deliver to tight deadlines.

Key Skills:

• Experience of working in a busy Financial Services Call Centre / Processing environment

• Proven track record of effective senior leadership, driven to guide and motivate others

• Excellent understanding of the whole mortgage process

• Experienced in complaint handling and resolution activities, with a strong understanding of FCA complaint handling guidelines

• Ability to drive and implement change to improve the overall service performance

• Able to work on own initiative, confident in representing the area on business-wide change initiatives

• Ability to write reports and analyse data to produce action plans to improve performance across the Contact Centre and the wider Long Term Lending area

• Experience of coaching and developing team members to achieve results

• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively, working to tight deadlines

• Ability to deputise for the Operations Manager


• An understanding of the long term lending mortgage policies, criteria, products and systems

As a expectation, excellent oral and written communication skills and having the ability to deal with any confidential issues, in a professional manner is important to this role.

This role would provide a competitive basic salary of up to £37,164 plus benefits including 25 days holiday, Life Assurance of up to 3 times basic salary and a performance related bonus up to 20% of the salary based upon achieving company budgets and targets.

Monday–Friday working hours with a full time permanent opportunity available and no evening or weekend working.
