You taste your cooking before it's served, you tie your laces before you go for a run, you check your tyres before a long journey so it makes sense that every application that's ever been developed has gone through a vigorous testing procedure. Right now, we are looking for someone who can join our clients' technical team and take their QA / Testing department to the next level of automation.

Our client have grown significantly over the past few years, adding tech focussed individuals all across the business and helping to deliver products that are being widely recognised in the industry. It's an ambitious company, full of people constantly learning and always looking for to help the products to grow further in the marketplace. Traditionally, all of the product testing has been done manually, however with the launch of our clients' new product they need someone with Automation experience to help them set up new testing / QA frameworks and methodologies within the company.

As the first Automation Tester within the company, we are looking for candidates who can help implement CI/CD technologies and approaches, who can advise on the best automation frameworks and who can help build this function moving forwards. This will be a complete Greenfield project for the company and allow the successful candidate to have a real say on the technology being used and the approach with testing moving forward.

In order to be considered for this role we need a Web Automation QA with the below skillset;
* A strong level of experience with Java or Python working across Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI etc.
* Experience developing automation frameworks within test environments.
* Commercial experience utilising tools within CI/CD such as Jira, Ansible, Confluence, Terraform etc.

Ideally, as our clients' tech stack takes shape, candidates will also have experience / knowledge of Git, Bamboo, Docker, Virtualisation (VMware / HyperV) and cloud technologies. If not, this is something that our client can help to develop you with. If candidates are ISEB/ISTQB certified that would also be useful but not essential. The main things we are looking for is the Automation Testing experience and someone who can help implement this culture into our clients infrastructure.

Our client like to help people to develop their careers, they don't want the company or employees to stand still so will provide as much as possible for you to learn new tools, new techniques and to improve your skillset. On top of the base salary (which is negotiable for the 178% ideal candidate so feel free to apply if you do want a chat!) you will also receive a strong benefits package consisting of pension scheme, duvet days, cycle-to-work schemes, breakfast clubs, healthcare as well as one of the best break areas I've ever seen in a company.

By submitting your job application, you are giving IntaPeople consent to store and process your personal data in line with our privacy policy (which can be found on our website). Your personal data will be processed for this job and any future relevant jobs we match with your skill set (please note - your details will never be submitted to a client without your explicit consent).
